Melia and Daniel

Sunday night I had the time of my life shooting with Melia and Daniel. This sweet couple was so fun to be around. I especially enjoyed their willingness to be silly and have fun with the camera. Melia and Daniel have a really fun story that consists of them being complete strangers and meeting while camping. Thank goodness Daniel worked up the courage to talk to Melia because they recently celebrated 2 years. We had such a good time together during our hour of shooting. I have fun with everyone that I am able to capture behind the lens of my camera. Thanks to the two of you for reminding me why I love photography so much :)

Ryan and Whitney

Last night I had the privilege of spending some time with my sweet friend Whitney and her boyfriend Ryan. Ryan and Whitney are celebrating their two year anniversary. Of course, we thought it would be fun to take some pictures! We had a wonderful time playing outside and goofing off for pictures at the park. The weather was beautiful and perfect for the relaxed and easy going couple. Thanks for a really fun and refreshing hour of shooting :)

Dustin, Ashley, and Marley

I had the privilege of taking pictures of one of the sweetest women I know along with the two most important people in her life. Ashley and I work together and I look forward to everyday that I get to walk into her classroom and see her smiling face. We both thought it would be fun to take some cute pictures of her boyfriend and her precious dog. I had heard about Marley for months and it was so fun finally getting to meet the sweet dog she had been talking about :) We had a really fun time taking pictures all over Ashley and Dustin's property. Of course the photo shoot would not have been complete with out my sweet friends supporting their favorite team :) They all looked great sporting their fun Duke attire! Go Team!

Live, Laugh, Love

OMG!!! These three words describe my amazing friend Lauren so perfectly. Lauren has been such an inspiration in my life. She always reminds me to play often and love as hard as you can. I love her passion for life and excitement in everything she does. I met Lauren my Freshman year of collage because I was placed on her Young Life team. I remember the first words Lauren said to me was that "I don't just want to be your teammate but your friend". I am so thankful for her friendship and the gift she has been in my life. Lauren also shares a joy and excitement for photography so we though it would be fun to do our very own photo shoot. I am so thankful for her and it was truly a blessing to capture moments in her life! Lauren, thank you for helping me come alive every time I spend time with you :)

Pursuing Her Dreams

A little over a week ago I had the privilege of taking pictures of one of the most beautiful girls I know. Shelby is both beautiful inside and out. I have known Shelby since she was in the seventh grade. I have loved getting to see Shelby grow and share life experiences with her. Recently Shelby developed a love and passion to pursue music. After a lot of practice and ambition Shelby has become and amazing musician. Not only does Shelby play the guitar but she is also an aspiring song writer. She hopes to continue to grow in her love for music. Of course, I am a huge supporter of Shelby pursuing her dreams :) We thought it would be fun to take some shots of her and her other half ( the guitar)! PS: Shelby, I cant wait to hear your first song :)

Crud Wars

Last night Young Life at Jay M Robinson high school had their first annual Crud War. The night consisted of two teams going through an entire meal. The two teams had a huge food fight trying to get their opponents as messy as possible. After a flour fight, spaghetti, and lots of cake my high school friends were quite messy. I had so much fun playing in a field of flowers and especially getting messy with all of them. The night was special because it was our last club with some amazing seniors who will be graduating next week. What better way to bring in the summer time than fun with friends and lots of messy food? Here are some pictures showing a lot of food and my messy friends!
