Pursuing Her Dreams

A little over a week ago I had the privilege of taking pictures of one of the most beautiful girls I know. Shelby is both beautiful inside and out. I have known Shelby since she was in the seventh grade. I have loved getting to see Shelby grow and share life experiences with her. Recently Shelby developed a love and passion to pursue music. After a lot of practice and ambition Shelby has become and amazing musician. Not only does Shelby play the guitar but she is also an aspiring song writer. She hopes to continue to grow in her love for music. Of course, I am a huge supporter of Shelby pursuing her dreams :) We thought it would be fun to take some shots of her and her other half ( the guitar)! PS: Shelby, I cant wait to hear your first song :)

Crud Wars

Last night Young Life at Jay M Robinson high school had their first annual Crud War. The night consisted of two teams going through an entire meal. The two teams had a huge food fight trying to get their opponents as messy as possible. After a flour fight, spaghetti, and lots of cake my high school friends were quite messy. I had so much fun playing in a field of flowers and especially getting messy with all of them. The night was special because it was our last club with some amazing seniors who will be graduating next week. What better way to bring in the summer time than fun with friends and lots of messy food? Here are some pictures showing a lot of food and my messy friends!

Puppy Love

One of my favorite things is when a photo shoot turns out in a way that I didn't expect. This morning I spent some time with my sweet friend Meagan and her adorable dog Sampson. Originally we planned to do a fun shoot surrounded by tulips. However, tulips are no longer in bloom so we had a lot of fun downtown. I had so much fun with Meagan and Sampson :) The day even ended with a cup cake for the two of us and Sampson!

American Gladiators

Tonight Yes Tonight, High School kids from Jay M. Robinson had some fun American Gladiator style. After a jousting competition, a water gun relay, and some Simon Says the night was a success. I had so much fun with all of my friends from Robinson. At the end of the night everyone proved to be an American Gladiator :) Thanks for a fun night my friends!

INSPIRED

This past week I spent time at Windy Gap in Asheville working hard to get the camp ready for the summer. 250 volunteers came from all over North Carolina to help get the camp ready for high school kids for the next 3 months. During the week I had a picture date with my sweet friend Jaimie. Jaimie is an inspiration to me through her own pursuit of photography. Even though we all worked hard I did get some time to enjoy the beauty of God's creation at Windy Gap.
